Hi There,

I'm trying to create a data event that will create an alert when a user first enters information into a classification field.

Here is the expression that I've tried using.

ON('change','classificationField', function (event) {

This expression works fine when the classification field already contains a choice and is changed, but not when the classification field is changed from it's 'empty' status.

Is there a way to do what I'm asking?

    That worked fine for me when going from an empty status.

    Hello Adam,

    This is working for me on my end as well. Can you let me know the name of the app that you have this data event in? I can take a closer look for you.

    If you do not want to share the app name with the public, you can email me at support AT with this information.

    Sorry for the inconvenience, Alex. It was a missed ')' on my part.

    No more posting after midnight.
