Retrieving Inactive Form

Is there a way to retrieve forms set to inactive via the API? I've moved several to inactive because the field collection is finished, and there was no need to keep them on the tablets. Now I find that it would be helpful if I could pull those datasets via the API without having to re-activate them.

You should not have to set the app to active to retrieve data though the API. You may need to know the Form ID since it is not included in the index view since the app is inactive.

That's the root of my problem, I suppose. I don't have the form ID readily available. I've been using the call into forms to get the IDs then pulling the records based on a user's selection of a form from a list.

An easy way to grab the form ID without having to activate the app is to go into the app designer for that app and copy the ID off of the URL.
